Peter Schlächter presents „DIETER SIEGER MASTERPIECES"

Dieter Sieger started out as an architect and shipbuilder. In the 1980s, he revolutionized bathroom design and made history with his products for Alape, Duravit and Dornbracht. Many of his works have already become classics and are used by famous architects in the most elegant houses and luxury hotels in the world.

The last three years since his retirement from day-to-day business at sieger design, which is now being very successfully managed by his sons, Christian and Michael, have seen the creation of the “Dieter Sieger Masterpieces” collection.

Dieter Sieger outlined his ideas as follows, “For many years, I had thought about these objects, but never had the time to design such an extensive range. I wanted to create a collection possessing a timeless design by utilizing the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship. Objects that are not subject to fashion – that may be passed on to the next generation.” In this way, furniture, lamps, jewellery and accessories of the highest quality have been created.

The around 50 items in the collection have been designed from Dieter Sieger’s many years of experience in the field and from his intimate knowledge of the needs of users. They satisfy highest demands on living. They represent an uncompromising aesthetic, noble in material and classical in design. Dieter Sieger always remains true to his line of design in which he gives form and function equal priority.
